5.3 Absolute position back-up
Additional information saved when position backup is activated.
Error tracking where the number of times each type of error has occurred since the last
reset error operation is remembered together with a timestamp for the last time the er
-
ror occurred. The timestamp is in Run seconds.
Monitoring of total run time in seconds, called Run Seconds
Counting of the number of times:
- A new PLC program has been saved.
- The motor parameters have been saved.
5.3.3 The Flash backup feature support in MacTalk
All setup-values are accessible from MacTalk.
The QuickStep series offers many ways of position control using encoders. From firm-
ware V.2.6 SSI standard encoder is supported, and linear absolute positioning is possible
using a SSI-encoder.
