PERFORMING PREDELIVERY CHECKS
For windrowers NOT equipped with the optional
sensors expansion module (MD #B4666):
6. Check the knife drive box pulley (A) speed with a
hand-held tachometer.
7. Multip ly the rpm readin g by two to obtain the knife
speed in strokes per minute (SPM).
8. Comp a re the reading to Table 5.5 Knife Speed Setting,
page 352.
9. Adjust the knife speed if required. Refer to Step 1.,
page 353 to Step 5., page 353.
