Exercise Sheet 2-6-2
Valve Setup
1. Click on Configuration in the Main Window.
2. Click on Setup Valves.
3. The Setup Valves window opens.
To select a different valve:
1. Highlight the appropriate valve from the list.
2. Click on OK.
3. You must restart FmNT in order for the change to be implemented.
To edit valve setup:
1. Click on Edit in the Setup Valves Window.
2. The Valve Settings dialog box opens where you can edit valve settings such as:
Valve Speed
Fluid Pressure.
3. New allows a new valve type to be added to the Active Configuration list.
4. Delete will remove the selected valve from the Active Configuration list.
This should only be done by a trained service technician if the specific valve
type will never be used on the dispensing system.
5. If the system is equipped with a Low Fluid Sensor, click on the Low Fluid
Sensor checkbox.
6. If the system is equipped with a dual-action dispensing head, click on Enable
Dual Valves to activate this feature.
You must enter a Toggle Delay value for the time (in milliseconds) to wait
before switching from one valve to another.
The setup procedure for Valve 2 is similar to Valve 1.
