Exercise Sheet 4-5-2
Resetting Heater Thermostat
1. Turn the Main Circuit Breaker OFF and lock it out with a padlock.
2. If a Main Power Switch is present, turn the Main Power Switch OFF and lock it out with a
padlock.
3. Disconnect the Main Power Cord from the dispensing system.
4. Locate the AC Relay Module in the rear cabinet of the dispensing system, turn the AC
Relay Module circuit breaker OFF and lock it out with a padlock.
5. Disconnect all power cords.
WARNING! Failure to follow proper safety precautions could result in serious bodily
injury.
6. Wait for the heaters to cool down before proceeding.
7. When the heaters have cooled down, disconnect the thermocouples from the heater
blocks.
8. Remove the heater block and turn it upside down.
9. Locate the manual reset button on the underside of the heater block and press it.
10. Reinstall the heater block.
11. Reconnect the thermocouples.
12. Unlock all circuit breakers and power switches.
13. Reconnect the Main Power Cord.
14. Power-up the dispensing system.
15. Start Fluidmove.
16. Use the “Testing Heater Loops” procedure to test the heaters.
