Pneumatic Distribution (Continued)
 Clamp/Lifter Valve
- The Clamp/Lifter Valve may be used for either a clamp bar or lift table.
- For either device, the air leaves the valve in two separate hoses, one blue
and one black, which connect directly to the pneumatic solenoid for that
device.
- The blue hose controls the up pressure and the black hose controls the
down pressure.
- If this valve is used for clamp bars, the two hoses bisect and both clamp
bars, the one on the front conveyor rail and the one on the back conveyor
rail, are supplied with air from this valve.
 Lift Valve (as many as three)
- The air from the Lift Valve(s) leaves the valve(s) in two separate hoses, one
blue and one black.
- Both hoses connect directly to the pneumatic solenoid on the lift table.
- The blue hose controls the up pressure and the black hose controls the
down pressure.
E. Cooling Pressure
1. The air from the Cooling Pressure Gauge and Regulator leads directly to the
dispensing head bulkhead and connects to the cooler port.
2. This port is used for an optional fluid-cooling device.
F. Tensioner Pressure
1. The Tensioner is a pneumatic device used to maintain proper tension on the driver
cables.
2. There are four pneumatic solenoids for the Tensioner, one for the Y-axis, one for
the X-axis, one for the Z-axis, and one idle solenoid that maintains a constant
pressure front-to-back on the I-beam to prevent it from skewing.
 The air from the Tensioner Pressure Gauge and Regulator leads to the
Tensioner Valve located on the inside of the back panel.
 From there, it leads directly to the pneumatic solenoids for the Tensioner.
