Disconnecting the DP-3000
Tools Needed:
 4-mm hex key
1. Disconnect the DP-3000 black pneumatic hose from the manifold.
2. Disconnect the DP-3000 blue pneumatic hose from the manifold.
3. Disconnect the syringe receiver head hose from the manifold.
4. Disconnect the power cable from the dispense head.
5. Remove the DP-3000 from the dispensing system.
6. For the dovetail bracket, use the 4-mm hex key to loosen the setscrews on the right side
of the valve bracket, and then slide the pump out of the valve bracket.
7. Unscrew the syringe or fluid cartridge from the luer adapter and remove the syringe or
fluid cartridge.
8. Remove and save the syringe receiver head. Discard the syringe according to the material
disposal guidelines in the Material Safety Data Sheet.
9. Open the swinging bracket by lifting up on the (red) bracket latch.
10. Flip the stopcock lever (yellow) forward to release the stopcock.
11. Flip the chamber retention lever (green) up 90° so that it is horizontal.
12. Press down on the sliding bracket, and slide the carriage down.
13. The blue detent lever should lock the carriage securely in the down position.
14. Remove and discard the dispensing needle, Luer adapter and stopcock.
15. Slide the chamber retention slide from left to right, releasing the pumping chamber.
16. Retracting the piston will make chamber removal easier. You can use the upper knob to
retract the piston.
17. Pull down on the pumping chamber and remove it from the chamber retention slide.
