Scale Leveling and Calibration
A. Digital Scale
1. The weigh station is a small reservoir containing a metal pedestal resting on an
electronic balance. It contains a plastic disposable cup with a removable lid.
2. During a production run, the needle tip is inserted into the top of the weigh station lid
and fluid is dispensed into the plastic cup and weighed by the scale.
3. The values are reported to the software.
B. Scale Calibration and Leveling
1. The scale must be leveled and calibrated semi-annually in order to record an accurate
weight.
2. The scale, or weigh station, is located inside the dispensing area.
3. The digital display and controls are located in the lower front cabinet of the dispensing
system.
