Power Distribution (Continued)
D. Computer
1. The computer supplies power to the following components:
Monitor
Scale Display
Interconnect PCA
2. The Scale Display is located inside of the lower front cabinet.
E. Moritex Light Source
1. The Moritex Light Sources supply power to the Dual Lights mounted on the
dispensing head next to the camera.
2. Generally, there are two Moritex Light Sources located inside of the dispensing
system rear cabinet, one light source for each individual light.
3. If your dispensing system is not equipped with the Dual Light option, the Moritex
Light Sources will not be included on your system platform.
F. Computer Cards
1. PMAC Card
The PMAC Card provides the positional information to the robot in the X, Y, and
Z planes.
The PMAC works in conjunction with the servo motors and communicates with
the servo amplifiers, motors and encoders.
Together with all of these components, the robot is able to receive positional
data and proceed to its next selected point.
2. PIO-96-J Card
Located inside the computer, this card receives and relays height sense information.
96 I/O bits divided into 4 ports each of 24 bits.

ITI Video Mixer
Cognex Video Capture and Processing
4. Serial Card
Blastronix
Provides serial ports Com 3 (scale) and COM 4 (heater), COM 5 and COM 6.
