Power Distribution
A. Power Manager
1. The Power Manager supplies power to the following components:
 24/48 DC Power Supply
 Computer
 Moritex Light Source(s)
 Conveyor Controller Module
 Heater Relay Module
2. The Power Manager is also connected to the EMO (E-Stop) and the Start button.
B. 24/48 DC Power Supply
1. The 24/48 DC Power Supply supplies power to the following components:
 DC fans
 Servo Control Amplifiers
 Interconnect PCA
2. The DC fans are located on the floor inside of the dispensing system cabinet and
prevent the dispensing system from overheating.
3. The Servo Control Amplifiers are located inside of the upper rear panel and supply
power to the X, Y and Z-axis Servo Motor Assemblies.
4. The function of the Interconnect PCA is described below.
C. Interconnect PCA
1. The Interconnect PCA is located inside of the dispensing system computer and
serves as a relay station between the computer and all major system components.
2. It receives power from both the DC Power Supply and the Computer.
3. The Interconnect PCA also supplies power to the following components:
 The Dispensing Head Bulkhead  Board Sensors
 Weigh Station Sensor
 Interlock
 Conveyor Upstream/Downstream
Sensors
 Pneumatic Pressure Sensors  Needle Sensor
 Beacon  Pneumatic Pressure Switches
 Timers Module  Z Brake
 Interface PCA  Temperature Controller Module
