Height Sensor Troubleshooting
Symptom Possible Cause Recovery
Probe does not drop or
retract (HS-Series)
Check probe function:
Push the probe up with
your finger
.
If the green LED light on
the side does not turn ON,
the probe is not working.
- Call a Service
Technician.
Needle hits substrate
Check if probe tip is lower
than the needle tip.
(HS-Series)
Check LED on Height
Sensor to see if it is ON.
(LK-Series)
- Perform
Valve Offsets or
Calculate Master Offsets
in FMW or FmNT, or
Height Sensor Setup in
FMDOS.
- If the LED is not ON, call
a service technician.
