Reset Select Logic Enables the selection of the operator type for the Reset logic. Selection options: AND,
NAND, OR, NOR, XOR, XNOR.
Enable Clear If this option is selected, it is possible to reset storage.
Enable Out If this option is selected, an output containing the result of the calculation performed by the
input logic is enabled.
Restart Request If this parameter is selected, a “Request” output is made available to demand a restart.
5.4.2.8 PRE-RESET (PSR-M-B2)
1
The “PRE-RESET” operator can be used if it is not possible to see the entire danger zone
from a single reset button.
In this case, a “PRE-RESET button” must be used within the danger zone (at a position from
which you can survey the entire area) and a second reset button must be used outside the
danger zone.
A 0-1-0 logic state change is expected for each of the two inputs, “P
RERESET” and “RESET”,
which must take place within 500 ms to 5 s.

I
N The enable signal of the safety function to be monitored (e.g., light grid as access protec-
tion) is applied to this input. For the enable signal at output “Q”, input signal “I
Nmust be logic
“1”.
Q This output is set after a valid reset signal (falling edge) has been detected under the con-
ditions described above.
Parameters
Enable Clear If this option is selected, it is possible to reset storage.
Restart Request If this parameter is selected, the “W
AIToutput will be activated. This output can be used for
signaling purposes.
