4.2.15 Establishing a USB connection
Once you have plugged the USB cable into the PC and the base module, the connection
can be established via the icon in the standard tool bar.

It is possible to establish a remote connection to a PC that is not connected directly via USB.
To do this, enable the “Remote connection” check box which allows slower USB communi-
cation to a remote maintenance router.
Sending the configuration project (from the PC to the base module)
Click on the “Send configuration” icon to save the configuration to the connected base
module.
The base module saves the project in its internal memory, and on the additional
PSR-M-MEMORY memory, if inserted.
NOTE:
Please note that the base module will enter stop mode when the “Connect to controller”
function is executed.
This function is only available once the project has been validated.
