The signals must contain the same physical variable and come from sensors of the same
type (4 ... 20 mA, 0 ... 20 mA or 0 ... 10 V), but can have different scales.
Parameters
Inputs number For sum calculation: 2 ... 8 inputs
For difference calculation: 2 inputs
Operation Sum: outputs the sum of all analog input values at the “Analog” output.
Difference: outputs the difference between the two analog input values (AI
N1 - AIN2) as
an absolute value at the “Analog” output. “Sign” output:
Logic “0” for positive values
Logic “1” for negative values
Arithmetic average If this option is selected, when a sum calculation is performed at the “Analog” output, the
arithmetic average of all analog input values is output instead of the sum.
5.5.3 Equality Check
1
This operator can be used to check the equality of two signals at its analog inputs AIN1” and
“AI
N2” to verify they are within the parameterized permissible error. The inputs must be con-
nected to the analog outputs of the “ANALOG INPUT” function blocks.
Figure 5-163 “Equality Check” operator
The signals must contain the same physical variable and come from sensors of the same
type (4 ... 20 mA, 0 ... 20 mA or 0 ... 10 V), but can have different scales.
Output “O”:
Logic “0” when signal values at the analog inputs differ
Logic “1” when signal values at the analog inputs are the same
