* Simultaneity failure: when changing state, the maximum time between the input signals
was exceeded.
Manual Reset If this option is selected, a reset must be performed manually every time the function block
is activated. Otherwise, the activation of the output directly follows the state of the inputs.
Reset Type There are two types of reset: Manual” or “Monitored”. If the Manual” option is selected, only
the signal transition from logic “0” to logic “1” is checked. In the case of the “Monitored” op-
tion, the double transition from logic “0” to logic “1” and back to logic “0” is checked.

StartUp Test When this function is selected, the safety switch must be triggered on machine startup. This
test is performed by activating and deactivating the safety switch.
Filter (ms) The filter can be configured with a value between 3 and 250 ms and helps suppress contact
chatter. The length of the filter time affects the calculation of the response time of the safety
function.

Inputs at a function block must always be used in ascending order.
Example: If Inputs 1 and 2 are used for the function block, Input 3 must be used for the
reset input.
