Outputs with two category 4 relays: each module of type PSR-M-EF6 can be configured
with up to two category 4 redundant relay outputs. For this output, the relays are controlled
in pairs.
Properties:
– Two two-channel outputs.
– Two internal relays are monitored.
– Each output can be set: automatic, manual or manually monitored reset.

Manual Reset When this option is activated, on every signal change (1 --> 0 --> 1) at the “I
N” input the “FB-
K_RST” input must detect a rising edge in order to control the outputs (logic “1” signal).
If this option is deactivated, the enable of the output directly follows the input conditions at
terminal point “I
N” (“Reset Type”: “Automatic”).
When using category 2 in accordance with EN ISO 13849, an additional shutdown is re-
quired in the event of an error.
Output “O
TE” is normally logic “1” when no internal or external error is present.
