Below is the basic circuit diagram of the outputs for the PSR-M-B1, PSR-M-EF8, and PSR-
M-EF4 modules:
Figure 5-2 Basic circuit diagram of the outputs for the DUAL-OUTPUT function block
Parameters
Manual Reset When this option is activated, on every signal change (1 --> 0 --> 1) at the “I
N” input the “FB-
K_RST” input must detect a rising edge in order to control the outputs (“O
UT 1” and “OUT 2”)
(logic “1” signal).
If this option is deactivated, the enable of the output directly follows the input conditions at
terminal point “I
N” (“Reset Type”: “Automatic”).
Reset Type There are two types of reset: Manual” or “Monitored”. If the Manual” option is selected, only
the signal transition from logic “1” to logic “0” is checked. In the case of the “Monitored” op-
tion, the double transition from logic “0” to logic “1” and back to logic “0” is checked.

Enable Monitoring-Out When this option is selected, the status output of the function block indicates the status of
the safe outputs. This status information can be used for diagnostic purposes, for example.
