2.1 PSRmodular safety system: Structure and method
of operation
Overall system: hardware
and software
The PSRmodular safety system consists of the following components.
PSR-M-B1 and/or PSR-M-B2 base modules
Optional PSR-M-EF, PSR-M-EM, PSR-M-TBUS safe extension modules or PSR-M-E
standard extension modules
PSRmodular Software for configuration
Safe control devices, sensors, and actuators (depending on the application)
The diagram below illustrates the overall system in an application example with the
PSR-M-B1 or PSR-M-B2.
