Current limits This parameter enables the specification of a permissible current value range for current
sensors.
– Minimum current (2.5 ... 3.9 mA)
– Maximum current (20.1 ... 23.0 mA)
If the measurements are outside of this range, an error message will be generated. The “E
R-
ROR” output will be set to logic “1”.

Current limits/Voltage Enables the specification of a maximum permissible voltage limit for voltage sensors.
– Maximum voltage (10.0 ... 11.5 V)
Figure 5-86 “Current limits/Voltage” parameter
If the measurements are above this range, an error message will be generated. The “E
R-
ROR” output will be set to logic “1”.
NOTE:
Prerequisite: “Sensor anomaly” is set to “Saturated 0 mA”.
Output “O
UT1” of the ANALOG INPUT function block initially remains at logic “1”. It is only
when the upper measuring range final value of 25 mA is reached that output “O
UT1” of the
ANALOG INPUT function block is set to logic “0”.
Validate whether the ERROR output needs to be linked depending on the required safety
level.
