5.4.6 MUTING operators

The muting function implements a temporary, automatic override of the electro-sensitive
protective equipment, for example to enable material flow to pass through the protection
zone. The electro-sensitive protective equipment must be able to accurately distinguish be-
tween a user in a potentially hazardous situation and the material.
