5.1.1.5 RELAY function block
The safe relay output is closed when input signal “I
N” is logic “1”. The relay contact is open
when input signal “I
N” is logic “0”.
Parameters
Category When making this selection, you can choose from three different categories in accordance
with EN ISO 13849 (1, 2, 4):
Category 1: outputs with category 1 single relays. Each PSR-M-EF6 module can have up
to four outputs of this type.
Properties:
– Internal relays are monitored.
– EDM feedback (check of FBK 1 - 4) not used (not required for category 1).
– Each output can be set: automatic, manual or manually monitored reset.
