A Technical appendix
A 1 Response times of the PSRmodular system
For the individual response time, observe the results of the project report in the PSRmodular
Software.
Verify the results stated in the project report by performing practical measurements for the
entire safety function.
Validate the result with the required response time from your safety application.
The response times depend on the following parameters:
1. Number of installed extension modules
2. Number of operators
3. Number of safe outputs
4. Modules for speed monitoring (PSR-M-EM...) are handled separately in the project re-
port.
