Parameters
Input Type – Single: input “I
N 1” is activated by an output of another base module (PSR-M-B2).
– Double: inputs “I
N 1” and “IN 2” are activated by a 2-channel output of another base
module (PSR-M-B1 or PSR-M-B2).
Filter (ms) When the parameter is selected, the filtering of signals from another base module is acti-
vated.
– The filter can be configured as follows: 3 ms ... 250 ms.
– The length of the filter time affects the calculation of the response time of the safety
function.

This function block checks the status of the “I
N” input of a sensor (not a safety sensor). If
the sensor is interrupted, the “O
UT” output is logic “0”; otherwise the “OUT” output is logic “1”.

– Please note that if the selected filter time is too high, this can result in no network con-
nection.
– The input can only be assigned to PSR-M-B1 or PSR-M-B2, and not to the extension
modules.
– Only base modules of the same type (i.e., either PSR-M-B1 or PSR-M-B2) can be
connected together.
