Parameters
Input Type Single: input “I
N 1” is activated by an output of another base module (PSR-M-B2).
Double: inputs “I
N 1” and “IN 2” are activated by a 2-channel output of another base
module (PSR-M-B1 or PSR-M-B2).
Filter (ms) When the parameter is selected, the filtering of signals from another base module is acti-
vated.
The filter can be configured as follows: 3 ms ... 250 ms.
The length of the filter time affects the calculation of the response time of the safety
function.
Item Description A 24-character text description of the function or the name can be entered here. The text is
displayed above the function block.
5.1.2.12 SENSOR function block
This function block checks the status of the “I
N” input of a sensor (not a safety sensor). If
the sensor is interrupted, the “O
UToutput is logic “0”; otherwise the “OUToutput is logic “1”.

Please note that if the selected filter time is too high, this can result in no network con-
nection.
The input can only be assigned to PSR-M-B1 or PSR-M-B2, and not to the extension
modules.
Only base modules of the same type (i.e., either PSR-M-B1 or PSR-M-B2) can be
connected together.
