4 PSRmodular Software: Basics
The PSRmodular Software safe configuration software is used exclusively for the configu-
ration and parameterization of the PSRmodular configurable safety system.
The software will support you in all the development phases of your project, from configura-
tion through to startup and documentation.
4.1 Installing the PSRmodular Software
Hardware requirements for the connected PC
– RAM: 256 MB
– (enough to run Windows XP SP3 + Framework 4.0)
– Hard drive: > 500 MB of available memory
– USB port: 1.1, 2.0 or 3.0
Software requirements for the connected PC
– Windows XP with Service Pack 3 installed (or higher operating system)
Installation
The software can be downloaded free of charge at phoenixcontact.net/products.
Extract the downloaded file and start the installation program (setup file).
When installation is complete, close the setup program.
Microsoft Framework 4.0 (or higher) must be installed on the computer.
