4.2.8 Project example
The figure below shows a project example with a PSR-M-B2 base module and two safe
blocks (“GUARD-MONITORING” and “E-STOP”).
On the left-hand side in yellow are the inputs of the PSR-M-B2 base module to which the
signal generators are to be connected. Both outputs will be activated in accordance with the
conditions defined in “GUARD-MONITORING” and “E-STOP”.
When an item is selected by clicking it with the mouse, the “Property” window is activated
on the right and this is used to parameterize the activation of the blocks.

4.2.9 Saving the project
The active configuration can be saved at any time via the icon in the standard tool bar.
At the very least, the project should be saved when the safety program is complete.
4.2.10 Validating the project
On successful validation, a sequence number is assigned to the individual items in the cir-
cuit diagram. This number appears in the report as well as in the simulation and online mon-
itor of the PSRmodular Software.
The base module configuration can only be downloaded if the validation is passed.
The completed project must be verified. To do this, execute the “VALIDATION” command
( icon in the standard tool bar).
