7.2.1 PSRmodular error codes
In the event of internal and external errors, the PSRmodular system is able to transmit the
error code to the PSRmodular Software.
To read the error code, proceed as follows:
– Establish a USB connection to the base module.
– Start the PSRmodular Software.
– Establish communication with the base module by selecting the “Connect to controller”
icon. A window appears requesting the password. Enter the password.
A window appears containing the recorded error code and possible solutions.
For information on device diagnostics, please refer to the technical data sheets for the in-
dividual modules available in the Phoenix Contact E-Shop.
Error code Meaning Possible solutions
19D Two microcontrollers do not see the same
hardware/software configuration.
Check the base module and extension module are con-
nected correctly. Replace the connectors, if necessary.
66D There are two or more extension modules
of the same type with the same address.
Check the addressing: check terminal points 2 and 3 of the
extension modules.
68D The maximum number of extension mod-
ules has been exceeded.
Check the configuration and adapt it, if necessary (maximum
of 14 extension modules).
70D One or more extension modules have de-
tected an address change.
Check the addressing: check terminal points 2 and 3 of the
extension modules.
73D An extension module has detected an ex-
ternal error.
Check the error code of the relevant extension module for
further information.
96D ... 101D PSR-M-MEMORY memory module error. Replace PSR-M-MEMORY memory module.
137D PSR-M-EF6 error: EDM error (category 4
configuration) at relay pair 1 and 2.
Check the connections of the external feedback contactors.
147D PSR-M-EF6 error: EDM error (category 4
configuration) at relay pair 2 and 3.
157D PSR-M-EF6 error: EDM error (category 4
configuration) at relay pair 3 and 4.
133D (proxi-
mity switch 1)
140D (proxi-
mity switch 2)
PSR-M-EM1 ... EM7 error: a cut-off fre-
quency overrange has been detected at
the proximity switch input.
The input frequency must be
≤ 5 KHz.
