Application example for
dynamic simulation
The following example relates to the use of a press inside a safety zone. The press drive
may only be activated if two conditions are simultaneously met: the gate to the safety zone
is closed and the command to switch on the drive is issued. Switch on occurs after the start
signal with a delay of two seconds.
Display of the safety program
In the circuit diagram, the function blocks are represented by the gate to the safety zone and
the switch-on command of the motor. These signals are used as input signals of an AND
logical operator, the result of which is delayed by two seconds by a switching delay. The de-
layed signal eventually triggers the relay, which activates the press drive.

Specification text file
The specification text file stipulates the closure of the gate at time 2000 ms (logic 1 signal)
and the operator switch-on command at time 3000 ms (logic 1 signal).
