Reset Type There are two types of reset: “Manual” or “Monitored”. If the “Manual” option is selected, only
the signal transition from logic “1” to logic “0” is checked. In the case of the “Monitored” op-
tion, the double transition from logic “0” to logic “1” and back to logic “0” is checked.

Enable status When this option is selected, the status output of the function block indicates the status of
the safe outputs.
External K time monitoring When this option is selected, it is possible to specify the time frame during which the exter-
nal feedback signal will be monitored.
– When the outputs change to the logic “1” status, the feedback signal (“FBK_RST”) must
change from logic “1” to logic “0” (and vice versa) within the specified time.
– In the event of an error (e.g., no signal change), the outputs are set to logic “0” and the
error is indicated on the base module by the flashing EDM LED (PSR-M-B1) for the out-
put.
Enable Error Out When this parameter is selected, an output (“E
RROR”) is made available which signals that
an error has been detected by the function block.

The “ERROR” signal is reset in the following cases:
– System switch off and switch on
– Activation of the RESET function (PSR-M-B1, PSR-M-B2)
