4. To remove the module, (using a screwdriver) push down on the locking tab on the back
of the module and then lift the module from below and pull it upwards.

2.2.5 Electrical requirements
NOTE: Wear on the connectors
A maximum of eight insertion cycles are permitted when connecting the modules via DIN
rail connectors.
Notes on electrical connection
– Do not connect the module when it is switched on.
– Do not use PSRmodular to supply external devices.
– Use the same reference potential for all components.
Notes on connecting cables
– It is recommended that the power supply of the safety modules be kept separate from
that of other high-power devices (electric motors, inverters, frequency converters) or
other sources of interference.
– For connections longer than 50 m, use cables with a minimum cross section of
1 mm
