5.4.6.4 MUTING “T” operator
Figure 5-156 Sensor arrangement for “MUTING “T””
Figure 5-157 MUTING “T” operator
The MUTING operator with T” logic enables the muting of the “Input” input signal to be per-
formed via the input of sensors “S1” and “S2”.
The muting function is activated following the interruption of sensors “S1” and “S2” (the
order is not important) in the user-defined time period between 2 s and 5 s.
The muting cycle ends when either of the two muting sensors is enabled.
Parameters
Timeout (s) Enables a time to be set from 10 s to “unlimited”, within which the muting cycle must be com-
pleted. If the cycle has not been completed when this time expires, muting is immediately
interrupted.
If the value is set to “unlimited”, the “With Enable” input parameter is automatically activated.

Prerequisite: the muting cycle can only begin when all sensors are at logic 0” and “Input”
is at logic “1” (light grid is clear).
