305User Manual 1178.5966.02 ─ 20
●
This option is not available for the R&S ZNLE.
●
The VNA-/Spectrum specific interfaces can only be used in the respective mode
and if the Port Configuration is set accordingly.
●
For the current R&S ZNL14 and R&S ZNL20 models (order nos.1323.0012.14 and
1323.0012.20), the spectrum analysis option is not available and hence the
"Spectrum Mode" functions cannot be used at all.
9.7.10 GPIB interface
Option R&S FPL1-B10
This user-retrofitable plugin-unit provides a GPIB bus connector according to standard
IEEE 488 / IEC 625. The GPIB bus interface is primarily intended for remote control of
the R&S ZNL/ZNLE from a controller. For details, refer to Chapter 14.2.2, "GPIB inter-
face", on page 1112.
9.7.11 Broadband limiter
R&S ZN-B13
If not properly discharged, even a passive DUT can build thousands of volts of static
electricity between its armor and inner conductor. If you are working in an environment
where electrostatic discharges are possible, or if you are not discharging your DUT
before measuring it, make sure that the instrument is properly grounded. You can use
any screw on the VNA chassis to connect it to the ground.
For additional protection, Rohde & Schwarz recommends using broadband limiters
R&S ZN‑B13 (stock number 1303.7840.02) at each port of your R&S ZNL/ZNLE3|4|6.
9.7.12 DC power supply 12/24 V
R&S FPL1-B30
A R&S ZNL that is equipped with this user-retrofitable plugin-unit can be connected to
DC power supplies from +12 V to +24 V and from 13 A to 6.5 A.
This option is not available for the R&S ZNLE.
