Background information
Refer to the following sections:
●
Chapter 9.1.4, "Sweep control", on page 187
●
Chapter 9.1.4.2, "Stimulus and sweep types", on page 189
10.5.1 Sweep Params tab
Allows you to define the scope and timing of the measurement in the active channel.
Segmented sweeps
In "Segmented" linear frequency sweeps, the sweep parameters can be set independ-
ently for each segment. See Chapter 10.5.2.2, "Define Segments dialog", on page 333.
System error correction
In general, the system error correction is no longer valid after a change of the sweep
parameters. The status of the calibration is shown in the trace list. If the number of
points is changed, the analyzer interpolates the correction data. The calibration label
"Cal Int" is displayed. See also Chapter 9.5.4, "Calibration state labels", on page 262.
Number of Points
Sets the total number of measurement points per sweep. The minimum number of
points is 1 (measurement at a single frequency/power/time value), the maximum num-
ber for frequency sweeps is 100001.
Sets the total number of measurement points per sweep, in the range of 1 to N
max
(=
100001 for frequency sweeps on R&S ZNL, 5001 for frequency sweeps on
R&S ZNLE).
