10.9.4.1 Controls on the Limit Test tab
The "Define Limit Line..." button opens the "Define Limit Lines" dialog (see Chap-
ter 10.9.4.2, "Define Limit Lines dialog", on page 435).
Show Limit Line
Shows or hides the limit line associated with the active trace in a Cartesian diagram
area.
Note: Displaying the limit line and limit check are independent of each other: Hiding
the limit line does not switch off the limit check.
Remote command:
CALCulate<Chn>:LIMit:DISPlay[:STATe]
Limit Check
Enables/disables the limit check for the active trace. If enabled, an additional info field
is displayed in the diagram, indicating the "PASS" or "FAIL" state.
Limit violations are marked with colored squares.
An acoustic signal and a TTL signal indicating pass or fail can be generated in addi-
tion.
