362 Teach-in stop by
Depending on how the Start teach-in parameter has been configured, the Teach-in stop
by parameter is used to define which signal or condition should terminate the teach-in
process for the match code.
ā¢
TEACH-IN TRIGGER SOURCE: The teach-in process is terminated by a signal (e.g., a key
switch) at one of the sensor's digital inputs.
ā¢
OBJECT TRIGGER: The teach-in process is terminated as soon as the reading gate
closes.
ā¢
VALID CODE TAUGHT IN: The teach-in process is terminated as soon as a match code
has been successfully read.

Teach-in Condition
The Teach-in Condition parameter defines the condition that must apply when the newly
taught-in match code content is stored. The selected condition is used as a basis when
the target/actual comparison is activated. Each code that is read is compared to the
code content that was read in for the target condition.
The Teach-in Condition parameter is used to assign the items of code content that are
to be compared to a condition. The taught-in match codes can be retrieved and actiā
vated at a later time, subject to the condition being met.

EDS Text Element in Output Format / Assign Element EDS of Output Format
You can use this option if you want data from an external device such as a weighing
scale to be combined with the sensor data. This allows the reading result and the exterā
nal data to be sent to the host in one string.
For this to take place, the external data must be received by the sensor while the readā
ing gate is open. If the sensor does not receive any data during the reading gate interā
val, a default text is sent so that the host is aware that no data has been received. It
makes the most sense to use this option when data is output at the end of the cycle.
The EDS text element can be positioned freely as a variable in the output format and
can be set to a fixed length by double-clicking.
Data is output on all configured interfaces, including the fieldbus interfaces.
365 Timeout
If the Data transmission point parameter is set to the END OF LABEL value, the Timeout
parameter can be used to define how much time must elapse before a code is output
again.
The unit can be selected via the Output delay parameter.
366 Timeout Diag. Output
The Timeout Diag. Output parameter defines an interval in ms during which reading
diagnosis data remains available in the object directory for upload by the control. Once
this interval has elapsed, the reading diagnostic data is discarded.
Alternatively, the timeout values can be modified directly in the object directory via
objects 0x3010/01 to 0x3010/02. The changes are not applied until the device has
been restarted.
If the reading diagnostic data is being monitored, the data is stored in the object direcā
tory and downloaded by the control. A timeout must be specified for the upload.
