401 X-Coordinate
The distance between the reading device and the reference point in the X-direction, i.e.,
along the length of the conveying direction, is entered under the X-Coordinate parame‐
ter.
402 Y-Coordinate
The distance between the reading device and the reference point in the Y-direction (at
90° to the conveying direction) is entered under the Y-Coordinate parameter.
403 Counter
The Counter parameter is permanently set to the TRIGGER NO. value and cannot be
changed.
The stored images are numbered consecutively. The number is increased by 1 as soon
as the reading gate opens. When the device is restarted, the numbering starts again
from 1. Once the memory is full, no more images can be stored.
404 Reset counter values
Pressing the Reset counter values button resets all counters.
To reset the permanent flash memory in addition to this, you must also press the Store
current counter values now button.
405 Store value permanent
If the Store value permanent parameter is activated, the counter value is automatically
backed up in the flash memory every six minutes.
An additional backup can be performed manually at any time by pressing the Store cur‐
rent counter values now button.
The automatic backup function ensures that the counter values remain available even
in the event of a brownout or device restart.
406 Line / Character Recognition
The line and character recognition can be activated and configured in the Line / Char‐
acter Recognition group.
The OCR algorithm first segments the lines in the image and then the individual charac‐
ters in a line of plain text. The number of expected lines and characters must be speci‐
fied for the algorithm process.
407 Time (hh:mm:ss)
The Time (hh:mm:ss) parameter is used to enter the time that the reading device
should apply when setting its device time. Device time synchronization is triggered by
the user via the SET DEVICE TIME button.
408 Time server IP address
The Time server IP address parameter is used to enter the IP address of the server
from which the reading device obtains the time during synchronization. The user can
initiate the first synchronization process using the RETRIEVE TIME FROM TIME SERVER button.
