389 Activate ISO15415 verification
If the Activate ISO15415 verification parameter is activated, the codes are verified for
conformity to the ISO/IEC 15415 standard. During this process, values are calculated
from the code content and can be output in data strings if the output formats are con‐
figured accordingly.
NOTE
Given that the process of calculating the values increases the decoding time, this func‐
tion should only be activated if necessary.
390 Distribute on
Trigger signal communication is activated/deactivated and assigned to a communica‐
tion network via the Distribute on parameter.
•
DEACTIVATED: The trigger is not distributed to other network nodes.
•
CAN: In a group of devices that communicate with each other via the CAN network,
the signal for opening the reading gate can be distributed. This involves an appro‐
priate trigger signal being received by one of the devices – usually the master –
and distributed to the remaining devices on the CAN network.

Use Device-ID as DeviceNet-Address
If this parameter is activated, the device ID is used as a DeviceNet address.
Device ID
Under the Device ID parameter, the device ID is displayed. If the device ID is activated
for use as a fieldbus address, a new device ID can be assigned.
392 Use Device-ID as Node-ID
If this parameter is activated, the assigned device ID is used as a CAN node for the CAN
bus.
Device ID
The Device ID parameter displays the device ID that was assigned under Network /
Interface / IOs. The device ID is used to assign the device a unique number on the net‐
work. The assigned ID is used as a CAN node for the CAN bus.
The device must be uniquely identified on the network to enable communication via
CAN bus and so that reading results can be correctly attributed to devices.

Use Device-ID as Profibus-Address
If the Use Device-ID as Profibus-Address parameter is activated, the device ID is used
as a Profibus address.
