Install the current the FMS snippet
6250FMSFix.psx.
Download this snippet from the Partner or
Customer Support web sites.
NOTE The printer must be at the Ready state
to receive the snippet.
Following installation, a page prints with the
lines:
Printer updated successful!: [219/219]
Power printer OFF then ON to finish
upgrade.
If the snippet did not installed correctly, the
page reads:
PRINTER UPDATE UNSUCCESSFUL! [199/
199]
Wait until the printer is in READY State
and resend file.
Does the problem persist?
Go to Step 8. Go to Step 9.

Check the Fuser for wear, damage, or debris.
Replace if necessary.

Check for paper jammed in the Turn Chute
Assembly.
Is the leading edge accordian folded at the
Turn Chute?

Use Service Diagnostics to test the following
parts within the Registration Chute Assembly:
■ Registration Sensor (PL9.1.8)
■ OHP Sensor (PL9.1.12)
■ Registration Clutch (PL9.1.6)
Replace any defective parts.
Does the problem persist?
Go to Step 14. Complete.
