5DX Series 3 SMEMA Interface Standards
• The SMEMA Mechanical Equipment Interface Standard is a set of
specifications to establish a minimum requirement that conveyor-to-conveyor
equipment must meet. These specifications include physical requirements of
the conveyor systems.
• The SMEMA Electrical Equipment Interface Standard is a set of
specifications to establish a minimum requirement that the equipment must
meet. These specifications included the electrical interface requirements to
provide the proper movement of printed circuit assemblies through the
production line.
