5DX Series 3 Operator Control Console
The Operator Control Console has a variety of controls and indicators:
• X-ray Control Key — Provides the power to the Enable circuit.
• X-ray Control On Button — Enables power to the X-ray components.
• X-ray Control Off Button — Disables power to the X-ray components.
• X-ray On Indicator — A red indicator that indicates the current status of the
X-rays.
• Safety Interlocks Closed Laser On Indicator — A green indicator that
indicates the status of the Safety Interlock Subsystem’s low voltage control
loop. ON=ACTIVE and OFF = Access Panel Open, Fault condition or power
off.
Adjusting the Safety Interlocks on the Inner Barrier
Required Tools
• Ohmmeter with clip style test leads
• Gap Adjuster
• 7/64-inch hex wrench
• Ball Driver - 5/64-inch hex
• Cable Adapter (part of the Inner Barrier Adjustment Tool Kit, P/N E7200-
60053)

For ease in performing this procedure, use the Stage Movement
Controls to move the XYZ Stage Assembly so it is centered in the X
direction and at the minimum Y position. The rails should be spaced
as far apart as possible.
