Panel Handling Modes
5DX Series 3 Systems can be configured for four panel handling modes:
Automatic Pass Back Mode, Automatic Flow Through Mode, Manual Pass Back
Mode, and Manual Flow Through Mode.
Automatic Pass Back Mode
In the Automatic Pass Back Mode, the Panel Handling Subsystem automatically
handles the loading and unloading of Panels, based on SMEMA compliant
signaling events. Panels are loaded and unloaded from the same side of the 5DX.
The panels may loaded and unloaded on either the left or the right side of the 5DX
depending on customer requirements.
Panels can be loaded and unloaded by the following:
• Input/output accumulator located next to the 5DX.
• Input conveyor outfitted with a turntable and located next to the 5DX.
