Information:
Cooling fans and filters are located throughout the 5DX System refer to
Figure 10-6 and Figure 10-7 for locations. The filters should be cleaned according
to schedule (at a minimum) or whenever excessive dirt has collected.
Procedure:
There are two procedures for cleaning the filters and fans—one for the main
cabinet and one for the electronics bay. Refer to the following sections:
• Fan And Filter Cleaning (Main Cabinet) on page 10-19
• Fan And Filter Cleaning (Electronics Bay) on page 10-20
ADVICE Components inside the Electronics Bay are susceptible to Electrostatic
Discharge. To avoid damage to devices wear an anti-static wriststrap when
working on the Electronics Bay.
