4-6 Power Subsystem
Power Distribution Unit 5DX Series 3
The cable coming from the front right wire egress on the front of the PDU is
connected to the 220 volts ac switched outlets in the Main Cabinet. This provides
power for the X-ray Tower Fan, the VacIon Pump Power Supply, and the High
Voltage Power Supply.

Unswitched Output Terminals
Unswitched power is energized when the 5DX System is connected to AC
Mains Power. This unswitched power is only removed if the AC Mains Power
is switched off, not when the PDU On/Off Switch is turned off. With the E1135C
PDU all power is removed if the main breaker (lock out/tag out) switch is set to
the 0 or off position. The unswitched output terminals are connected to the cable
coming from the front left wire egress on the front of the PDU. This provides
power for the Monitor, and Speakers. A second outlet provides power to the
Expansion Chassis, and subsequently the System Controller.
Controls and Indicators
The green rocker switch illuminates to indicates when power is turned on.
The green light emitting diode (LED) illuminates when the switched outputs
are on.
The yellow LED illuminates when the Emergency Stop loop has been opened,
or when there has been either a High Line or Low Line error.
