Each X-ray Tube exhibits unique filament characteristics, therefore, filament
readings are incomparable to specific predefined values. In order to provide an
accurate assessment of the X-ray Tube’s status, it is important to maintain a
System Log book. Each month, the screen printout obtained during this PM
procedure should be inserted into the System Log book.

Attention
The Anode (kilovolts), Cathode Current, Bleeder Current, and Drive
Current should be within ±2% of the values displayed in
Figure 10-2.

The purpose of this procedure is to monitor the X-ray High Voltage
Power Supply in order to determine if changes have occurred in any
of the parameters, thereby indicating a possible failure.
