5DX Series 3 Main Cabinet Maintenance
Check the Auto Width Adjust
Maintenance Frequency: Monthly
Estimated Time: Fifteen minutes
Required Items:
• 6-inch caliper or equivalent
• Confirmation and Adjustment Panel
Prerequisite:
The end to end measurement of the caliper must be known prior to using the
caliper for this procedure. A 12-inch caliper may be substituted.
Special Notes:
The specifications for the width measurement are as follows:
Maximum = {requested width} + 0.030 inches
Minimum = {requested width} + 0.020 inches
In the following procedure, the requested width is specified as 12000 mils (12
inches). Ideally, the panel width should measure 12.030 inches at the rails.
However, as long as the measurement falls in the range of 12.020 to 12.030 inches
it is acceptable.
