5DX Series 3 VacIon Pump Power Supply
VacIon Pump Power Supply
The VacIon Pump Power Supply is located under the Main Cabinet on the 5DX
System frame.
The VacIon Pump Power Supply provides the required voltages for the VacIon
Pump. At initial power on the VacIon Pump Power Supply is at approximately 5
kilovolts and then drops down to 3 kilovolts.
Camera Power Supply
The Camera Power Supply is located under the Main Cabinet and is mounted on
the bottom of the Rotary Scintillator Assembly. The Camera Power Supply
provides the following dc voltages for the X-ray Image Camera:
• +5 volts dc at 1.5 amperes
• -5 volts dc at 0.25 amperes
• +15 volts dc at 80 milliamperes
• -15 volts dc at 340 milliamperes
WA R N I NG There are high voltages inside of the VacIon Pump Power Supply and
running through the cable. There are no User serviceable parts inside of the
VacIon Pump Power Supply. Do Not attempt to open or otherwise service
this item.
