4-4 Power Subsystem
Power Distribution Unit 5DX Series 3
Power Distribution Unit
The Power Distribution Unit (PDU) receives AC Mains Power and distributes it
to the 5DX System. The PDU adjusts factory power to meet the 5DX System
operating voltage requirements. The PDU has a power switch used to remove all
switched system power and it is located at the rear of the Electronics Bay as shown
by the cutaway view in Figure 4-2.

The E1135C PDU also has a lock out / tag out (area of detail on the left) feature
so the PDU main can be locked in the off position. The hole for the lock will
accept a locking mechanism with a .62 cm (.25 in.) shaft (or smaller).
