5DX Series 3 Overview
The Power Subsystem includes the following components:
Power Distribution Unit provides switched and unswitched ac power to the
5DX System.
Low Voltage Power Supply provides dc power to the Digital I/O Assembly
and Chain 1 of the Safety Interlock Subsystem. (12, 24 and 48 volts dc)
Focus Coil Power Supply provides dc power to the Focus Coil of the X-ray
Tube Assembly.
VacIon Pump Power Supply provides power to the VacIon Pump.
Camera Power Supply provides dc power to the X-ray Image Camera.
X-ray High Voltage Power Supply provides -160 kilovolts dc power to the
X-ray Tube for generation of the electron beam.
The Emergency Stop Buttons shut down all switched power in the 5DX System.
