5DX Series 3 Long Term Shutdown For the Agilent 5DX System
c. Select the Shut down radio button. The operating system will write
unsaved data to the hard disk drive. When it is finished, there will be a
message box indicating that it is safe to shut off the computer.
11. Power off the Expansion Chassis. This will also power off the System
Controller.
12. Power off the Power Distribution Unit located at the rear of the Electronics
Bay.
13. If the 5DX System is being powered down for servicing it is recommended that
Lock-Out, Tag-Out Procedures are followed.
WARNING Safety Interlocks should NOT be defeated under any circumstances.
Defeating the Safety Interlocks can cause exposure to X-rays.
