5. Troubleshooting
Code 2022: “LPS Temperature ambient too high” (Warning)
Situation Solution
The ambient temperature inside
the LPS module is about to exceed
the maximum temperature allow ed.
Neglecting this warning will result in
a lamp switch off.
1. Check the ambient temperature of the projector. Ensure that the am bient
temperature is within spec. Maxim um 40°C (104°F).
2. Ensure that the front side (air inle t s ide) of the projector is not blocked.
3. Check the lter at the front side of the projector.
4. Replace one or both LPS modules. S ee "Lamp Power Supply", page 169.
Code 2023: “LPS temperature transformer too high” (Error)
Situation Solution
The temperature of transformer
inside the LPS module has
exceeded the maxim um temperature
allowed.
1. Check the ambient temperature of the projector. Ensure that the am bient
temperature is within spec. Maxim um 40°C (104°F).
2. Ensure that the front side, air inlet side, of the projector is not blocked.
3. Check the lter at the front side of the projector.
4. Replace one or both LPS modules. S ee "Lamp Power Supply", page 169.
Code 2024: “LPS temperature transformer too high” (Warning)
Situation Solution
The temperature of the transformer
inside the LPS m odule is abou t to
exceed the maximum temperature
allowed. Neglecting this warning will
result in a lamp switch off.
Code 2025: “LPS temperature heatsink output diode too high” (Error)
Situation Solution
The temperature of the heatsink
of the output diode inside the LPS
module has exceeded the maximum
temperature allowed.
Code 2026: “LPS temperature heatsink output diode too high” (Warning)
Situation Solution
The temperature of the heatsink
of the output diode inside the LPS
module is a bout to exceed the
maximum temperature allowed.
Code 2027: “LPS mains voltage too low” (Error)
Situation Solution
The mains voltage applied to the
input pins of the LP S m odule is
below specs.
1. Check if the mains voltage applied to the projector is within specs. See mains
voltage meter abov e the projector O N/OFF switch (reference 1 image 5-6).
Minimum input voltage is 200V AC.
2. Ensure tha t the mains v oltage doesn’t drop below spec when the lamp is ignited. If
this is the case, use a better power cord extension cable between the commercial
net and the projector mains input socket.
3. Check if the power distribution system of the building is able to deliver the required
power for the projector.
