Code 7634: “Air out temp short” (Error)
Situation Solution
Damaged wire unit of the
temperature sensor (reference
11 image 5-27 and image 5-28).
Repair or replace the wire unit.
Defect temperature sensor
(reference 11 im age 5-27) which
measures the temperature at the air
outlet (projector rear side).
Replace the temperature sens or at the air outlet channel.
Code 7635: “Air out temp open” (Error)
Situation Solution
The wire unit of the temperature
sensor ( NT C) of the air outlet
is disconnected from the Power
Distribution boa rd.
Check if the wire unit (reference 11 image 5-28) of the temp erature sensor is connec ted
with the power distribution board.
Damaged wire unit of the
temperature sensor (reference
11 image 5-27 and image 5-28).
Repair or replace the wire unit.
Defect temperature sensor
(reference 11 im age 5-27) which
measures the temperature at the air
outlet (projector rear side).
Replace the temperature sens or at the air outlet channel.
Code 7636: “Engine air temp low” (Error)
This error code is probably preceded by the warning code 7637: “E ngine air temp low”. The same troubleshooting table can be
applied to.
Code 7637: “Engine air temp low” (Warning)
Situation Solution
The ambient temperature in the
area of the projector is almost below
the minimum required operating
temperature of the pr ojector.
Make sure that the ambient tem perature is within specs: higher then 10°C (50°F). Let
the projector acclim ate. Do not ignite the lamp, otherwise there is a risk for condensate.
Defect temperature sensor
(reference 16 image 5-29) which
measures the temp erature inside the
Light P rocessor compartment.
Replace the temperature sensor mounted on the Light Processor assembly (reference
16image 5-29 ).

Code 7638: “Engine air temp high” (Warning)
Situation Solution
Blocked filter of the Light
Processor c ompa rtment. The
DMD temperatures are probably too
high as well.
Ensure that the air inlets of the projector are not blocked. Replace a dirty filter with a
new one.
