5. Troubleshooting
Code 7803: “12V voltage high” (Error)
Situation Solution
Malfunction Switched mode power
supply
Check the 12 V LED on the S MP S board. Replace SMPS board.
Code 7808: “Mains voltage low” (Error)
Situation Solution
The mains voltage applied to the
input pins of the Switched mode
power supply is below s pecs.
1. Check if the mains voltage applied to the projector is within specs. See mains
voltage meter above the projector ON/OFF switch (reference 1 im age 5-43).
Minimum input voltage is 200V AC.
2. Ensure tha t the mains v oltage doesn’t drop below spec when the lamp is ignited. If
this is the case, use a better power cord extension cable between the commercial
net and the projector mains input socket.
3. Check if the power distribution system of the building is able to deliver the required
power for the projector.
Malfunction Fan Control B oard. Replace the Fan Control Board. See "Replacing the Fan control board", page 278.
Malfunction Switched mode power

Replace the Switched mode power supply. See "Replacement of the SMPS board",
page 166.

Situation Solution
The mains voltage applied to the
input pins of the Switched mode
power supply is below s pecs.
1. Check if the mains voltage applied to the projector is within specs. See mains

Check if the mains voltage applied to the projector is w ithin specs. See mains voltage
meter above the projector ON/OFF switch (reference 1 image 5-43). Maximum input
voltage is 240V A C.

page 166.
